New Blog and New Holiday announcement

A new blog is born. I personally don't like the way Facebook doesn't have blogs but instead has Notes which are shown in all your friends news feeds. I prefer not everyone to see what I am going on about. Myspace does have blogs but sheesh that site always has something not working. Blogspot is the winner cause I can access it at work and you don't have to be a facebook or myspace friend to read it. So it begins....

There will be another blog post that is straight up what is going on with music in my life and the Ham to follow but this first post is an announcement. So I was watching my friend Celeste's band (The Monarchs) last night and the next to last song they played was a Beatles song. I started thinking about the Beatles and even today they are still so well known. If you haven't heard of the Beatles there is obviously something wrong with you or the way you were raised and if you don't like at least some of the Beatles stuff...well you may not have a soul, just saying.

So on with the Announcement, on July 9th will be Birmingham Beatles Day! What is Birmingham Beatles Day? Just a day to celebrate the Beatles. A day to share your favorite Beatles' Lyrics, song(s), album cover, top ten Beatles songs lists etc... So come up with your favorite Beatles stuff and share on July 9th. People are invited to come over to my crib and listen to their favorite Beatles songs and watch their favorite Beatles DVDs. Even if you can't come over feel free to come up with your top 5 Beatles songs share some MP3s of rare awesome Beatles songs. So July 9th Birmingham Beatles Day Lets celebrate!!! More tba...
